Pollen Love Poem

She Moved with Spring

When she left

I was speechless.

Not surprised,

Sick.

Eyes full of

Allergies,

I could not watch her

Go.

The door swung

Open,

Shut.

She said,

Don’t follow.

Faint footsteps

Echoed,

Like falling petals

Of budding flowers,

Bloomed to

Kill me.
